A very intelligent young mare. Lucky is small but mighty! She has a large stride for her size and therefore is easy to navigate through combinations. She has endless scope and really loves her work. She has an incredible brain for her age.

Lucky Choice 

Leo joined our stables at the end of 2022 with his owner, Ellie. He has a great temperament in the stable and on the yard and is a super  jumper in the ring. Leo is a great addition to the Old  Granary Stables.

OS Chateau Latour

Farina is an all time yard favourite! Everyone who comes onto the yard instantly falls in love with the real life unicorn. Farina had a lot of  success previously  as a top Derby horse, before Elizabeth Cohen took over the reins and competed up to 1.30m. Farina is now living and loving life as a brood mare, with an exciting foal on the way in 2021!

Diamond is a careful and bright mare who never returns from a show without a rosette! Kate and Diamond have already had successful international results, with many more to come in the future! Diamond is an asset to anyone’s string of horses with one of the most consistent records of any horse we’ve seen.

Noteworthy  joined our stables at the start of 2024 and has been produced slowly and correctly through the levels, giving her the best start to her showjumping career. Dory is proving to be a very scopey and careful mare which makes us excited for her future!

A lovely scopey young gent. He joined us via Roelof Bril, and has shown superb attitude with a lovely technique. Joey has an excellent temperament and is a pleasure to do in every way, making him the perfect amateurs horse.

Nemo is a great addition to OGS. Not only is he beautiful, but equally as talented! He  has a fantastic brain and is always level. We are very excited to have him as part of the team.

Sky is owned and ridden by Millie Kay and was Millie’s first horse off ponies. Together they have had a lot of success both nationally and internationally up to 1.30. Sky is an absolute dream to have on the yard and we love seeing her and Millie out competing together 😍

We’ve had a great first 5 months of the year, welcoming some new faces to the team.

 The team have been mainly focusing on training throughout the winter in preparation for the summer season, with all members already getting results at 2024 shows!

The member of the OGS pony team have all come home with shows with placings and first rosettes, including Amalie Bearman returning from her first premier show with a 3rd and 1st place in the Foxhunter classes with Misty! 🥇 🥉 

The horses have all be working and training hard throughout winter, to come into the outdoor season producing clears at from British Novices to 1.30, with an exciting schedule of summer shows ahead!

Back to the summer season! 

As we head into our winter season and indoor shows, we thought we should have a recap on summer at Old Granary Stables!

Shortly after our first trip to Hickstead in June, we said goodbye to two great horses from our stables. Both 7 year olds, Luigi and Qlipper Blossom headed off to new homes. Although it was very difficult to see them go, we’ve enjoyed watching them both competing with their new owners. 

It was a dream to have 2 young horses in our yard like Luigi and Qlipper Blossom, and produce them to their 7 year old year and we will now enjoy following their success with the new riders. 💙💫

Throughout the rest of the summer, we’ve been focusing on training the horses and clients left at home, as well as welcoming new members to the team! 💪🏼

We also welcomed an old face back to the yard. Zeitgeist (Eric) has come home to drop down and enjoy life. 👴🏼 
We have spent the last month going to local shows with Lulu jumping Eric, and new rider Flo with her horse Liancara. Both horses have been coming home with results in 1st or 2nd place! 🥇🥈

Another old face who has returned to the yard is Poppy! After completing racing school, Poppy has come back to OGS as our full time weekday and show groom! 👏🏼 

We now have some indoor shows planned with our team of new and old faces. Keep an eye on our website and social media pages for updates and videos of our winter show preparations! 💙💫
